The bet is on… The wife of a former Manchester City player has vowed to dance n@ked if Kevin De Bruyne doesn’t end the 2017-18 campaign as PFA Player of the Year. Jo Lake, promised to do a n@ked conga in a car park if the Belgium player doesn’t win this season’s Player of the Year Award. The ghostwriter and editor took to Twitter to make the announcement and said husband Paul would also be taking part. The Belgium midfielder maestro, De Bruyne put in another pivotal shift in City’s 7-2 hammering of Stoke on Saturday afternoon, providing two assists and a succession of exquisite passes as the hosts ran riot at the Etihad.
So sure that the player is set to win this season’s prestigious Player of the Year Award, Mrs Lake Tweeted: “If Kevin De Bruyne doesn’t win PFA Player of the Year Paul and I will do a naked conga around Kwik Save Stockport car par.”
Paul Lake spent 10 years playing for Manchester City, making 110 appearances. But the former England U21 star could very well be known for something else if De Bruyne fails to win the POTY award.
