A mother and her son have made everyone proud after graduating being called to bar upon graduation from the Nigerian Law School on the same day.
A mother and her delighted son have made history by being called to bar on the same day. Mrs Uchechi Onyekwere Nwadiogu and her son Bernard Alozie Nwadiogu set the record after they qualified to be solicitors and barristers of the Supreme Court.

The duo were among many who graduated on Tuesday from the Nigerian Law School. 29 out of the 4,294 candidates bagged First Class after the August 2017 bar examinations, according to Director-General of the school, Mr Olanrewaju Onadeku (SAN).

Speaking on the historic incident the excited son took to social media and wrote: "Proud Mother.
Proud Son. I couldn't have done it without her, I bet she couldn't have done it without me too.

Love you Ma. Always.

Congratulations to Us both.

More grace to us after the Call to Bar.

Congratulations to both of you. But, how does a new graduate become a SAN immediately? How can a new graduate, fresh out of college serve in the Highest Court of the Land? Father in heaven thing, I suppose. Somebody just out of college needs job training and experiences to qualify for certain positions in a company. Learning on the job is good but not good in the highest court of the nation.
