Ex-IYC President, Chris Ekiyor Attacked By Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Along East-West Road

Former president of the Ijaw Youth Council, Chris Ekiyor, took to his Facebook page to narrate how two Fulani herdsmen shot at his vehicle while he was driving with his driver on the East West road by Unenure bridge between Ughelli Patani road yesterday February 7th.

According to Ekiyor, a youth corp member was shot at during the sporadic shooting by the herdsmen. See his post and comment on his Facebook page below

This is very serious that these herdsmen will come all the way from the North to terrorise us here. The government should stand up to it's responsibility of protecting the lives and property of its citizens.
