Governor Ayo Fayose visited Ipao Ekiti town today following the killing of one man by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Sunday.  The governor, who arrived Ekiti State yesterday evening mobilised Soldiers, Policemen, Civil Defence and local hunters to the town to prevent further loss of lives.

He warned against people taking laws into their hands and directed that a committee should be set up to look into the immediate and remote causes of incessant attacks in Ipao Ekiti and surrounding towns.

“Anyone who kills will be fished out and punished in accordance with our laws and no one should kill cows here too,”
Governor Fayose said.

I know he won't let that lie low. If others can fight like him, the excesses of these herdsmen woul have been brought to a halt.

its surprising, it is from the southwest, a Governor is behaving with courage and some sense, this country has been dead for a while now, with the torments of hell been unleashed, poverty, hunger, pollutions, epileptic power supply, killings, cult killings, militants, terrorists, kidnappers, and evil leaders. And one must also contend with wicked thoughts, and the climate change has been making it hotter, yet all these problems have fed off from each other, they have the ability to cause severe damages not seen before, the resilience of the people has been absorbing all these negative outcomes but the creativity of the people has not prevailed over any one of this torments yet.
