Charms Recovered As Police Storm Shrine of Ritualists/Fraudsters, Arrest Three in Osun State -Photos

Yesterday, after the parade of three suspected ritualists cum fraudsters who were recently arrested, the Osun State Police Commissioner, Olafimihan Adeoye led other top officers of the command to their shrine in Ilase-Ijesha.

The ring leader of the ritualistic gang, , Afolabi Ganiyu, popularly called Ifatoki, gave an insight into how they used to carry out their heinous operation, before they met their Waterloo.





The police discreet investigation revealed that the suspects are a gang of ritualists and impersonators. Items recovered from the suspects include one mirror, booklet of receipts, six calabash, one wooden box, three charms account book, one local pot and a complete local attire with a cap.

This recent wave of bursting ritualists in Yorubaland is very good and interesting,I wish that the police commands in the entire east will take note and start arresting the traditional medicine men preparing charms here and there for people to poison and kill young and promising men,especially during celebrations. It is becoming rampant in the east to the extent that many are now afraid of their villages
