Marriage ceremonies in Africa as a whole has a lot of intriguing moments that are oftentimes very memorable.

A beautiful pride from the northern part of Nigeria couldn’t hold her tears after being confronted with the reality of finally leaving the house of her parents for her husband’s house in marriage.


Amina Gambo Muazu is seen being consoled by her father as she cries during her wedding ceremony held at the weekend in Abuja.

This is a common sight at Nigerian weddings and it is regarded as tears of joy. We have also seen cases of parents also joining their daughters in shedding tears over her imminent exit from their home for a new life.

Its this type of ladies that causes problem in their matrimonial home. Any small thing they run to their family to tell. They can't seem to get over their family and its bad. Why the tears? Dem force u say I do?
