A 25 year old man identified as Namanene has been apprehended for allegedly molesting a 22 year old corp member who rejected his love advances in Nassarawa State. It was gathered that Namanene had expressed his feelings of love to the young graduate who turned him down.
The beautiful lady who was deployed to Janki Secondar School in Lapai area of the state was reportedly on her way back too her lodge from Lagos, when Namanene pretended to be a motorcyle rider and dragged her into the bush. He allegedly held her against her will, beat her up in order to overpower her and raped her fiercely
Upon questioning, Namanene said;
I was telling her to corporate with me that i only wanted to express my affection for her but she refused. Ibeat her mercilessly until she became weak. After molesting her, i drove my motorcycle away without knowing that the long hands of the law would catch up with me
Honestly, I love the corper but i don’t have the courage to express my feelings that was why i forcefully made love to her
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Abubakar confirmed that the arrested suspect who tried to flee and avoid arrest has since been charged to court
