
Nigeria’s star centre-back Leon Balogun has completed a move to Premier Leagueside Brighton and Hove Albion, according to Rheuters.
The Germany born Nigerian international joined Bundesliga side Mainz in thesummer of 2015 but talks for the renewal of his contract stalled on many attempts toget him put pen to paper on a new deal - the 29-year tough-tackling centre-back joinsthe Seagul as their first signing of the summer,signalling an end to his nine-year spellin Germany.

Balogun first laced his boots professionally for Hannover 96 before touring WerderBremen, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Darmstadt 98 and Mainz 05 over the course of the lastnine years.
