A beautiful lady celebrated her birthday with a bold photo showing off her stump.

The woman, whose name is Doris, shared the beautiful, confident photo without trying to hide her scars. She had on a beautiful high-heeled sandal on her other leg and surprisingly she had a good balance.

In a short birthday message, Doris' love for life and gratitude shone through.

She wrote: "Happy birthday to myself.

"I might not be the richest person in the world or the world’s president but I have happiness, peace of mind, and most importantly the gift of life. Thank you, God, for blessing me with such priceless gifts. On my birthday, I celebrate these little but priceless things. Happy birthday to me."
