Truck Driver Reportedly Crush Pregnant Woman To Death In Abuja (Photo)

A truck driver reportedly crushed a pregnant woman and a man to death, then fled the scene.

The truck, which was conveying granite, lost control and rammed into both victims who were attempting to board a taxi by the side of the road, before dragging them into the gutter. They died on the spot.

The incident happened yesterday, July 26, at about 4:00 p.m. along Jabi/Airport Road in Abuja.

After the accident, the truck driver and his motor boy fled the scene. Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps and emergency officials eventually arrived and conveyed the corpses to the mortuary.
