Athletes from across various African nations who came into Nigeria for the Africa Senior Athletics Championship in Asaba were forced to sleep on the floor at the airport in Lagos because there was no flight to Asaba.
The Asaba 2018  Africa Senior Athletics Championship is to begin today. athletes who tried to travel from Lagos to Delta state were stranded at the airport and had no choice but to sleep on their luggage and on the floor.

This incident is now being referred to as a national disgrace.

No flight ! Nija but why all this improper and late arrangements Na oh . This is a national shame .Nigeria r quick to claim giant in West Africa but must other countries in the region is much responsible and reliable and well organized than Nigeria .Ghana should take aim on that claim of West Africa best nation
