The 2018 African Movie Academy Awards is set to hold later this year and over the weekend the nominees for this year’s categories were revealed.

Click here to see the full list of nominees.

The nominee announcement event was hosted by movie stars Enyinna Nwigwe and Munachi Abii.

The event, popularly known as AMAA and The AMA Awards, are presented annually to recognize excellence among professionals working in, or non-African professionals who have contributed to, the African film industry.
