Former Commissioner For Health, Dr. Mwajim Malgwi, Wife & Maid Massacred in Adamawa

The former commissioner for health, Dr. Mwajim Malgwi and his wife and their housemaid were killed around Boggare village, Jimeta in Adamawa state as they were returning home from a meeting with farm hands on Saturday.  The gunmen who ambushed the couple, were reportedly moving in a tricycle.

Dr Mwajim Malgwi, who is the proprietor of Polyclinic in Jimeta, Yola, was a commissioner for health in Adamawa State in 1988-89. He was in his 70s.


The Adamawa State Police spokesman, Othman Abubakar, who confirmed the incident Sunday morning, told The Nation that no arrest had been made but that his men were still investigating the incident.
