A young man has incurred the wrath of millions of Nigerians on social media after he made a controversial post online. A Facebook user identified as Oniyangi Abdullahi Badmus, has set the internet on fire after he took to the social media platform to reveal how he rejected his wife's prepared breakfast meal because she did not get on her knees while serving him.

Abdullahi whose post has been trailed with mixed reactions and criticisms first shared a photo of the mouth-watering meal his wife served him and revealed that he rejected such delicacy because his wife did not kneel down before him while she served it.

While it is possible that the young Nigerian man was just joking in the post which has gone viral online, such practices where housewives are subjected to a pressure of 'worshiping' their husbands or risk being tagged a disrespectful wife, has been continuously frowned upon.
