Photo Journalist, Abiodun Yusuff Hit By Stray Bullet During APC Flag Off Campaign In Lagos (Photos)

A journalist barely escaped alive after being hit by stray bullet as violence marred APC Governorship flagoff rally. A photojournalist with Ijoba Ibile TV was hit by a stray bullet on his hand while covering the flag-off campaign of Mr. Sanwo-olu plans for Lagos state in the 2019 gubernatorial election at Bishop Vinning Centre, Ikeja, in the cause of discharging his official duty.
 
Also, it was reported that the group political editor of Nation newspaper, Emmanuel Oladesu, Temitope Ogunbanke, and Ibile Television cameraman, Abiodun Yusuf were also reportedly affected by the stray bullet.
 
Trouble began at about 1:10 pm when Mr. Ambode was giving his keynote address, the miscreants in attendance began to engage in a free for all, disrupting the palpable political activities of the day.
 
However, the police who were on the ground for security reason engaged and contained the touts who brandished all for of dangerous weapons. Upon the crisis, Mr. Abiodun Yusuff was hit by a bullet and has since been rushed to a general hospital.
 
Mr.Abiodun Yusuff is recuperating at the general hospital, Ikeja.
