The attention of the new Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed has been called over the plight of a young man who has been detained for six days now at B division in Warri, Delta state.
According to reports, Monday Eboh who owns a boutique – was arrested six days ago by B Division Police officers in Warri over an undisclosed reason.

The young man has been denied bail and also allegedly denied access to his family members as his phone has been seized. The man’s mother is said to be traumatized over her son’s condition. Founder of Behind Bars Initiative, Prince Gwamnishu Emefiele, wrote;

Monday Eboh who owns a shop (a Clothing shop) was picked up six days ago by B Division Police officers warri. He has been denied bail, he has been denied access to his family members and his phone seized. Our intelligence team who met with the officers in B Division Warri, the officers said it’s the Commissioner of Police Delta State Police command will sign for his release.

We call on the attention of the New Inspector General of Police to quickly order for the release of Monday and others arrested, detained and denied bail.
