The just concluded 3rd Daar awards has left the award recipients and attendees applauding DAAR Communications for an incredible night of fun, color and music, as they celebrated excellence across Africa.
Former vice president and PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar walked away as the ‘man of the year’; while President Buhari was applauded as the ‘African President of the year’.
Other recipients include media mogul Mo Abudu who got businesswoman of the year. Also, completing a corporate clean sweep, Innoson group was recognized as the indigenous manufacturer of the year.
Meanwhile, MTN, Guaranty Trust Bank and Airtel carted off with Customer service brand of the year, Entrepreneurship support bank and creative ads of the year respectively.
Tuface Idibia, Alibaba, Dele Momodu and ‘Zebrudaya’ are duly recognized for their lifetime contributions to music, media and nollywood respectively.
