The UAC building in Lagos Island is currently on fire and efforts are being made to put it under control.

A Twitter user who works in the building has been giving a minute-by-minute report of what's going on. Glasses have been shattered in the fire and properties destroyed. Staff have been evacuated and can be seen standing downstairs watching the building burn. The fire service has arrived and is doing all they can to put off the fire, an eyewitness revealed. Videos and photos shared online show smoke billowing out of the top floor of the building. See online reports and videos below.
