The INEC in Qua’an Pan LGA of Plateau State has been razed by fire.

The Head of Media, Publicity and Voters Education of the Commission, Mr Osaretin Imahiyereobo, who confirmed that the incident happened Saturday night, lamented that the inferno has caused a serious setback to the preparations of the general election in the local government.

He said: “A drunken security man was said to have caused the fire outbreak. .

The office is completely burnt with all its contents — ballot boxes, generator sets — that have been serviced and filled with fuel, cubicles, newly printed electronic and manual voters register, uncollected permanent voter cards (PVCs), materials for the preparations of RAC and other materials yet to be identified.”

He added that the management team led by the Administrative Secretary, Mr Gbadamasi Rasheed, was on the way to assess the situation. He said it was too early to suspect any sabotage.

APC knows very well that they will never win in that state then they set the ballot papers on fire. One state reduced for PDP. They will move to another PDP state to do same again so that by the time election will start all the PDP state will not hold election

It’s well ! The sweet thing of democracy is ,Nigerian have understood the use of their weapon to vote and vote out any leader who has performed below rated .At same time we may need to be patient with any government that is putting  the nation on the path of development .This nation was ripped apart by military administrations for long , therefore the road to restructuring won’t be easy .All we need is a sustainable policy that will ensure rapid growth and impact people’s lives.Buhsri should be given the chance to complete his term and his administration ongoing project to fruition . Half baked bread won’t make it to a dinning table .
