President Muhammadu Buhari says there is a huge amount of foreign currency flooding the country intended to influence the outcome of the general election commencing on Saturday. In a statement by Malam Garba Shehu, the president’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, Buhari raised the alarm during the federal executive council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday. Shehu said the president accused some politicians of flouting money laundering regulations in their desperate bid to capture political power. He, however, commended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for successfully tracking the money in “millions of United States dollars”. According to him, the EFCC success followed the presidential directive to investigative agencies to probe a number of high profile cases. He reassured the nation of his administration’s determination to wage relentless war against money laundering and terrorist financing. Buhari also reiterated his appeal to Nigerians, especially politicians, to place the interest of the “country above all others, as they troop out to cast their votes in the coming elections”.

Untiil end of time ,a grown up man will have the right to his affiliation ,but let’s be more nationalistic than being patriotic means we r spinning jockeyed by the establishment which has for long maintained the colonial rule .We as a Ppl have failed to do a self reconnaissance of our lackluster factors .We failed bcaz we chose to fail .How quickly we forgot the news making waves all around the world the corruption of the last PDP government.If I hate the right to vote as a Nigerian no blinking ,my vote for Buhari .Guys in the domestic can’t see it but from the outside world we can feel his presence ,effort and the discipline he’s always portrayed as the best that ever emerged in modern African history as a corrupt free personality .I will put my hand on a chop board for this man ,even though I do not posses the right to vote .Nigeria pls see it in a long term and stoop seeing it from the presence situation .No great nation was built in the sphere of 4 yrs ,but the possibility to achieve that potential is foreseeable if we give it the chance it needed .Dont blame Buhari government for a poor economy ,it’s a global situation .It does not matter the party in Aso rock ,the global economy may handicapped the performance even if the political will is there .

The currency part can’t be blamed on Buhari ,Nigeria currency has for long been overrated and long due for devaluation.Secondly ,Buhari government had no choice but to increase price of gasoline ,simply Bcax the previous government virtually emptied the treasury .Thirdly,On the issue of tribalism ! Nigerian is a nation divided along ethinicity and every little problem ,choice of whom you chose to associate with or appoint in your cabinet is seeing by majority Nigerian as tribal factor ,hmmm .Well ! Nigeria naira was overvalued for years and trust me it was right to devalued it .The devaluation of naira wouldn’t have caused inflation if the government has done the right thing to increase interest rates ,but like I said before ,the government was handicapped bcaz revenue shrink in all sector of the economy.Therfore,to meet up government spending, rates got to be hiked at the pump especially
