The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has rejected the outcome of the February 23 presidential election.

He said the election was not free, fair and that it was full of many irregularities.

The former Vice President, therefore, said that he would challenge the outcome in court.

Atiku, in a statement he personally signed early Wednesday morning, said if he had lost in a free and fair election, he would have called the winner, President Muhammadu Buhari within seconds of his being aware of the outcome of the exercise.

He said, “if I had lost in a free and fair election, I would have called the victor within seconds of my being aware of his victory to offer not just my congratulations, but my services to help unite Nigeria by being a bridge between the North and the South.

However, in my democratic struggles for the past three decades, I have never seen our democracy so debased as it was on Saturday, February 23, 2019. 2007 was a challenge, but President Yar’Adua was remorseful. In 2019, it is sad to see those who trampled on democracy thumping their noses down on the Nigerian people. “Consequently, I hereby reject the result of the February 23, 2019 sham election and will be challenging it in court.”

Here is Atiku message below:

I would advise Atiku  should not be stops enough heading to the Court to challenge Buhari's Victory in this election. I'm surprised Atiku  is naive enough  not to know he is being used as a dispensable tool to achieve a deep hearted ambition.  Atiku  will soon lose the support of his own people,  who sublimely believe he is not a de facto  Fulani. At the time of his birth,  his parents were still in the Cameroons.  Atiku  might or might not realise because of his own ambition,  a frightening Intelligence Estimate I arrived at.  Atiku  would not have been President for 3 Years before he expires,  thank God,  his bulky frame would have been blamed for the tragedy: elaborate "Send Forth" might be his lot,  but the Beneficiaries of his vacuum  would be glad the old goat is out of the way.

the only way to change Nigeria from being headquarters of poverty is for you and others to stop stealing and looting national treasury. maybe you should report Buhari an INEC to UNO.

OBJ said that it is a do or die affair in 2003. Atiku was part of his team.
