Last night, a troop of men of the Nigerian Army in over 20 trucks went around popular clubs and lounges in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital, in a show of force ahead of the governorship election on Saturday, March 9th.

The Soldiers were alleged to have harassed party goers and fun seekers at random during the patrol at the joints including De Boss Lounge, Casablanca, Orange Room, Playhouse Lounge, Tuscany and many others.

This is coming days after several families in Abonnema in Akuku Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State fled their homes over fear Nigerian Army could attack their town after gunmen killed two soldiers there on Saturday night.

We are the enemies of ourselves. Yes we are.
We all know very well what would have happened if it were during the time of Obasanjo that u killed soldiers...

yes I don't support killing of soldiers but not to be harassing innocent civilians who don't know nothing about the killing of the soldiers, the army general that was killed in the northern part of nigeria, how many people did the harass there? What of cases of army killing innocent civilians and nothing happen at the end, in western world they will do their investigation very well and catch those culprits.
