A 45-year-old, film seller, Marainerume Alfred of Oke Itunu Church Close, Ejigbo has been arrested for defiling a 14yrs old girl.
It was learnt that the suspect who lived on the same street with the victim usually calls her into his shop while on her way back from school, along Iyana Ejigbo road in Lagos, where he sells Nigerian films and have unlawful segxwal intercourse with her. -
Their sex escapades which began May 2018 continued till 27 March 2019 when the victim’s grandmother perceived a strange odour when she returned home from school and subjected her to questioning. The victim opened up to her grandmother and narrated the whole story. She further stated that the suspect threatened that she will die if she ever disclosed it to her parents.
That the suspect usually gives her some drugs to take along with a mixture of salt and water after sex to prevent her from getting pregnant.
