History has been made as first female signature goes on a Naira note.
Priscilla Ekwere Eleje’s signature has gone on the Naira, making it the first ever female signature on it.

The development follows her confirmation as the first female Director of Currency and Operations in the history of the Central Bank of Nigeria. .



A psychology graduate of the University of Jos, Nigeria, Mrs. Eleje is an alumna of the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship programme in Banking and Management at Boston University, Massachusetts, USA. She is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
