The story of Zainab Habib Aliyu took the Nigerian internet space by storm today after various serious demonstrations across the country kicking against her proposed execution by the authority of Saudi Arabia for allegedly trafficking drugs, but here is the catch! Zainab never trafficked any drugs, it was the work of a drug gang who worked at the Kano international airport who plant drug in unsuspecting passenger's bags without them knowing and landing such passengers into "hot soup" when they get to their destinations. The situation at the moment meant alot of people have already been wrongly executed by the authorities of Saudi Arabia without any trial or proper investigation other than the evidence of finding drugs in a luggage that had been tagged with their name by corrupt Nigerian airport workers who are also drug barons!

Zainab Aliyu was arrested in December 2018 and her case as been a high profile one due to the influential family she came from, they were able to lobby the Nigerian authorities and organize protests to create awareness on the pending death of their daughter for a crime she never committed. We have a clip below of the full narrative of what happened the night Zainab Aliyu was arrested in Saudi Arabia in the company of her sister and mother who all travelled together, watch the video below from the 1:45 mark on wards

We have heard the good news today that the Saudi Arabia authorities have caved into the pressure and released Zainab Aliyu, here is a photo of Zainab Aliyu and the Nigerian officials she was handed over to upon her release:

This case has been able to shed a light into the rotten and dirty system that is in operation in Nigeria where bandits are trusted with very important positions of National security and citizen's safety. Can you imagine how easy it is for a militant group to blow up airports with such corrupt elements working as security staff, all they need is just a small penny and boom - everything will be up in the skies. Gistmania and Naijapals expect this case to die off without any further investigation in a true Nigerian fashion as the release of Zainab Aliyu is seen as the ultimate victory rather than investigating the system and trying to figure out how the gang were able to get work at the airport and why there was no proper background check carried out on such people. I hope things gets better for the sake of future generations.

I don't believe any of these cock & bull craps. The Born to rule oligarchy worked very hard to ensure that nothing happenfd to one of their own. This is what most of those Alhajas & Alhajis have been into for years, cus they believe that Nigeria is an Estate of their forefathers.

Why haven’t there been intervention in the case of nigerians that might have been wrongly convicted and killed in Saudi before the case of this girl. Why was the voice of those people not being heard till their death. Their voices was simply not heard just because they had nobody in high position that will fight for their freedom like this girl call Zainab Aliyu. I am happy for her freedom but wept for those poor ones who simply are wrongly convicted just because they are less privileged and too weak too fight for freedom and ended up being killed.... Which way Nigeria
