Saheed is the Oba Elegushi of Ikate land and is one of the youngest royal fathers in Nigeria. The king has been married to his first wife, Sekinat Aramide, for 16 years and they have three daughters. It was gathered that the royal blood is set to pick Hadiza Tanko, who is a younger sibling of Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the special adviser to the Kano state governor, as his second wife on May 3.



Many social media users have reacted to the news with most concluding that the monarch is in search of a male child. This speculation originates from the fact that Oba Elegushi has been with Sekinat for over a decade and it is said that they were college sweethearts.
