A foreigner identified as George #Suarez, has been arrested, arraigned and remanded in prison for mobilizing soldiers to beat his neighbor, Diva, like an uneatable snake in Lagos.

It was gathered that Diva’s only offense was having a misunderstanding with Suarez’s wife at their No 5, Falilat shomade street, #Lekki home, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. .

The man was said to have brought in four soldiers and ordered them to flog the victim. She was later whisked away and warned against reporting the incident if she doesn’t want to the shot.

However, the neighbors that witnessed the inhumane treatment rushed Diva to the hospital and got the police involved. Suarez appeared in court on Thursday and was remanded in #Ikoyi Prison pending when Diva would fully recover.

I just hope that the Authority involved now will do the right thing for once and teach both the Spanish Man and those useless police officers a lesson
