Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Wednesday morning allegedly robbed commuters along Ife -Ibadan express way, killing a civil servant identified as Mr. Adenipekun Ademiju

Ademiju, popularly called Okere, a staff of Atakumosa West Local Government of the state boarded a private vehicle at Osu, on his way to Ibadan before the incident happened at Ikire.

According to an eyewitness, Ademiju was shot dead as the robbers shot indiscriminately at vehicles to forcefully stop them.

” The man killed by Fulani herdsmen who normally rob on this road, two of them were in the car, I think the bullets missed the target, who is the driver of the car before killing the man.

“The robbers dropped the corpse on the highway and went away with the car”.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the State SP Folashade Odoro, who confirmed to journalists, said police were still investigating the matter.

Politics aside...………. Fulani herdsmen or Armed Robber.

Herdsmen kills when they graze with their cattle and not the opposite.
Or we could say that the herdsmen have now drop their cattle business for full time robbery on the highways.

This is misinformation to the public. Does it mean that we don't have armed robbers again in the country since every crime is now related to Fulani herdsmen.

If this continue, we can never have solutions to the problems because we will be chasing shadows.
