A group of young Nigerian professionals made history in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada on June 12, 2019 as they received a Proclamation from the Mayor of Brampton, @patrickbrownont in recognition of Nigerian Democracy Day. Special thanks to the Mayor, Committee Chair, Council Members and other special dignitaries that were present to mark this day with Nigerians in the GTA.
Plans have been set in motion for a bigger Flag Raising event on the 1st of October at Brampton City Hall, Canada to commemorate Nigerian Independence Day. Great job to the entire team… we started something good… we will #Succeed @dejiayowole @ucheokugo @udeaku_ @abebiade111 @v_viii_xv @nigeriansingta #NigeriansintheGTA #Nigeria #Canada #NigerianCanadian #GTA #Brampton #WeMove #CityofBrampton
