Palm oil is the most popular cooking oil in Nigeria, but the production process is rather unethical and unhygienic.  A religious fanatic/facebook user, Chrisray Awodi shared disturbing photos of the unhealthy method some villages making palm oil in Nigeira.

The photo in which a scantily dressed lady was seen removing kernel crumbs from the oil has caused outrage online.

Nigerians Are Outraged Over This Local Palm Oil Production Process. This is a senseless headline because the photo never show the Country where the picture was taken.
    Few years ago there was similar photo said to be taken in one west Africa Country not Nigeria and since then I stop using palm oil from that Country.

Fake story, please people should be mindful of what they share. She was not processing the "Palm Oil", rather she was separating "palm kernels" from fibers. Palm oil is very expensive to be allowed to sink into the soil via a dug pit/ soil tank. Even a closer look at the color of the dirty water around her shows muddy water and some residue of oil-mud. The oil-mud is used to mix feed for pigs, chicken, and manure. It is not recovered for human consumption.
