GUINEA-BISSAU

Guinea-Bissau were involved in a low-quality contest against Benin in Group F of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but the point they secured from that goalless draw has kept their hopes of progression to the last 16 alive.
Despite being poor for much of the game and managing to produce one shot on target in the 88th minute, Guinea-Bissau earned their first point in the competition and could progress if they can produce a shock win over Ghana.
They will still need a helping hand from the other result in their group and potentially elsewhere if they end up in third place and may look to make more changes to their side to give themselves the best opportunity of securing an unlikely spot in the knockout stages.

GHANA

Ghana drew their second consecutive game to leave their hopes of progressing in the Africa Cup of Nations in the balance as they were held by Cameroon which followed the draw with Benin in their opening match of Group F.
In an evenly-matched game, neither side posed huge problems in front of goal despite Ghana getting plenty of shots away with their best chance coming late on when substitute Owusu Kwabena hit the bar.
Ghana will head into this crunch clash sweating on the fitness of winger Christian Atsu after he was substituted early in the game against Cameroon with a hamstring problem but looks likely to miss this contest.

THE PREDICTION
Ghana will be looking to avoid a shock early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations when they face Guinea-Bissau in their final group match. A defeat would send Ghana home but they will progress to the last 16 with a win and that is what they will be playing for here. A draw would likely do neither side any favours and with Ghana knowing what is at stake, they are set to come out of the blocks strongly and should earn the win to secure their place in the knockout stages.
