"Why Punish Someone For a Sin Committed 16 Years Ago?" - Priests Back Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

The Prelate of the Methodist church in Nigeria, Eminence Samuel Uche, has said that there might be no truth in the rape allegations levelled against senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo, by Busola Dakolo. The prelated shared his opinion on the rape allegation in a recent interview with media personality, Prisca Chiemeka.

Some accusations are foolish. For me, from my way of analysing things, there is no truth in such a thing. You say somebody raped you were 26 years or so and after 16 years years you come and report. What is wrong. Maybe you demanded money or you wanted some payment and the person did not give you, then you decide to blackmail the person.

Why do you punish somebody for a sin committed 16 years ago. Our lord Jesus Christ says any sinner that believes is forgiven. He said repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. How do you go and tarnish the image of a man or woman who commited something from years ago. Is it relevant?

The Yoruba say "Iyan Ogun odun ati ma jonilowo felefele". Simply put, some misdeeds continue to haunt  an offender for a long time. I believe, because rape is a criminal offence, and therefore no time bar for its prosecution, this kalokalo of a woman wants to continue to milk this promuscous man of God dry. Hmmm, because of 'ego' the husband of this harlot can be part of this shameless scheme.

You sound so naive and ignorant...it is for people with you kind of reasoning that many of the so called men and women of God commit so much atrocities because they knew that some sick people out there will defend them.Being a man of God does not give anyone the licence to rape an innocent girl.

If thoroughly this COZA pastor do rape or abuse anyone in the past 16  and right now is a through man of God ,I dont think is necessary to make unnecessary noise .
God gave greater room for forgiveness ,If there is no forgiveness life Will be miserable for everyone living on this earth .
Many peoples we think i am stupid no i,m not nor greed but here is my point most of all crying they abused them find out they already abused themselves through way of their living .
Let concentrate or serious abused of power from you goverment when time come fulani will start rape your wife in your present and you will carry lantern for them to do its well and there is nothing you will do behead or kill your entire family
Many were say they are not touch my family they will touch them soonest .

See we all committed  sins in our day by day activities dont get me wrong is 21 year imprisonment abroad if established that he rapid  but why all of them now start coming out when man is flying ,some said is a fake pastor some said is not .
When someone said is man of God we shouldnt worried about that he will report his or her assignment to God he claimed his father  ,My own ideal is this if my mind is not through with you i can not attend your church simple.
