The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has frowned at the comment made by the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Nnamdi Kanu said that Tinubu, who is said to be aspiring to become president after President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, has disgraced the Yoruba ancestry for refusing to blame ‘Fulani herdsmen’ for the murder of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the chairman of Afenifere, Reuben Fasoranti.

He also asked the former Lagos State governor to stop spreading falsehood against the Igbo race because of his alleged selfish presidential ambition.

Tinubu had in an apparent bid to absolve Fulani herdsmen of culpability in the murder of Mrs. Funke Olakunrin asked if Evans the kidnapper was also a Fulani herdsman.

But Kanu felt Tinubu’s reference to Evans (Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike) in a murder case herdsmen are being accused of, was to suggest Igbo or other tribes might have been responsible for the act.

In a statement he signed himself and released through IPOB’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, and titled, “Tinubu stop spreading anti-Igbo falsehood”, Kanu said:

“Tinubu, you cannot sacrifice the blood of your brethren on the shrine of your greed, conceit and unbridled 2023 presidential political ambition. You have disappointed and disgraced the noble Yoruba ancestry, by allowing your self-centered avarice and ego to stifle the aspirations and destiny of your people.

“I must remind you today that your Fulani masters will never do for you what you are slavishly doing for them. You know in your heart of hearts that murderous Fulani herdsmen are culpable in the brutal murder of a Yoruba daughter and that Igbos had no hand in the Ore Highway Massacre.

“An influential Yoruba newspaper, reported that nearby villagers, who are Yorubas, informed police that the killer Fulani herdsmen have their base in a nearby forest.

“These are eye witness account from Yoruba people living in the surrounding areas where the tragic incident occurred. Or are you saying the villagers can no longer distinguish between a gun wielding Fulani terrorist and an Igbo man?

“Your unguarded utterances only succeeded in doing more harm to the Fasoranti family, insulting the memory of their daughter and will be seen for what it is, an affront to the dignity of the Yoruba race. Do not behave like a Fulani Lackey!!!

“The fate of Afonja and loss of Illorin a Yoruba territory to the Fulani conquistadors in years gone by should have taught you and your likes a bitter historical lesson but it seems you are hell-bent on repeating the mistakes of the past.

“Do not be devoid of shame, honour and dignity which are the hallmarks of a true statesman. The Fulani that you serve so foolishly will never shed one drop of Fulani blood for people like you. They will never concede ‘their’ Presidency to a lewd unequal.”

I don't support ipob but Kalu u spoke well here. If that's what Tinubu actually said something must be wrong with Nigeria. Why is it that pmb and his apc followers will never condemn these evil  F herdsmen.

Sincerely Speaking, This stupid old ass  muthaphyukers keep selling our Birth-right, Tinubu you have failed us by bringing Fulani to rule over us ones again forgetting how we lost the throne of Ilorin to this Fulanis, You can't trust them at all and with the igbos we all know that  Anger lives at the center heart of every single Igbo man to retaliate if getting into power...they never support the Yoruba nation, they always vote Northerners and never in support of Hausa/fulani including Yoruba nation, so it's obvious our common enemy is Igbo nation,  due to their pride and arrogance ,  they don't see anyone better than themselves , which is a poor mentality.
Yoruba nation will fix Nigeria, we want a great country and we will make it great, we do not hate hausas nor the Igbo , but the Hausa/Fulani keep using the weakness of Igbo Man's heart towards their downfall by co-operating with Yoruba Nation to get their results...i believe 90% of Igbo nation are christian, Igbo wake up and live according to what Christ preaches, Forgiveness and Harmony. with this one day you will rule the Nation Nigeria...but with Tinubu and Obj , they will be dealth with.
Peace.

Their are truths in what you said, I am an Igbo Man and I concur with you, but you will also know that you cannot beat a child and ask him not to cry. If the Yoruba Nation fails to rise up now, I bet you in few years to come they will all be slave to the heartless Fulanies. As for the Igbo's, I know blood will flow as we know their plans and will not give up without a fight. In conclusion you really makes sense but try and make more research on the origin of Fulani, Igbo's and the Yorubas, then you will start seeing things from different angle.

It seems you're a naive juvenile living abroad. If you're waiting for the police in Nigeria, you'll wait forever.

That’s typical of a Yoruba man to sell his brothers and sisters for his benefits, you can’t question them because they are your elders. To hell with that foolish mentality,
From a Yoruba man who knows we have zero leadership.
