The first lady and wife to Zamfara State Governor, Aisha Bello Matawalle met with Fatima an eight year old pupil at the government house in the state capital and presented her with a motorcycle to prevent her from trekking 2km to school daily.
According to reports, it was gathered that the young schoolgirl had been trekking long distances every morning to get to school. The girl’s name is not yet known at the filing of this report.
The first lady had visited the school and learned of the young school girl’s predicament and decided to render help by buying a brand new motorcycle for her. The first lady was pictured signing ownership of the bike to the girl.
The first lady who took to her handle to share photos, wrote;
“Fatima an eight year old pupil treks 2Km daily to go to school her zeal and strong passion for learning is rare and amazing! May Allah SWT bless her future”
