Six gunmen storm church during church service, murder chief Paul Iyang

It was a bad sunday for the people who witnessed the killing of chief Paul Iyang right inside the premises of the Ebenezer anglican church in besikpo Asutan local government area of akwa ibom state. Chief Paul Iyang before his death was a state caucus member of the ruling peoples democratic party (PDP) heading the re election campaign of Governor Godswill Akpabio in the council area and this is the reason why ppl believe that his death wasn't a mistake. According to the police, the assassins came on three power bikes and they went into the church with full confidence, spotted their target, called him outside and started raining gunshots on him. This led to the disruption of the church service as members scampered for safety. Due to the quickness of the police, they got to the scene before the assassins took off and they were able to arrest one of them after a gun battle which left one of the policemen seriously injured. Men of the underworld, they fear evil but it looks like they do not fear God again
