One of Olamide's artist took his life today following his battle with depression. Pelepele has been posting cryptic messages on his instagram page for the last 3 weeks captioning his photos and videos as "My last moments" but unfortunately no one took him serious. To many, he was just another upcoming artist looking for a way to breakout and would do anything for attention, but unfortunately Pelepele was actually suffering from real depression and even his friends took it very lightly. He made a video, which was recorded by one of his friends where he showed the sniper poison he said he would use to take his own life if his music does not pick up in the next 6 to 7 days, which would make it 10 year since he started music. You can watch the video below:

Earlier in his career, Pelepele was signed to Olamide's YBNL record label and had a song with Olamide, however, he did not get him to the place he had wanted to be. This is a very touching story and shows how Nigerians do not take mental illness seriously. Hopefully this young man can, R.I.P. Here is his debut song titled "Sinner man" with Olamide below:

But that his friend that recorded this video for him ought to be arrested. Some one did this kind of confession & u can't help him find help? That's wicked.  Pelepele u should know that it's not everyone that might be gifted for music like a super star. Some people are just good for singing in d bathroom but that doesn't mean u can't succeed in other ventures of life. It might even be acting or painting. Or anything else dear. I read about a philipino actor who is now a cop in Toronto. U could have just looked inward, there is still something u can do best than any other person. I  It's sad u took this measure seriously.

Pity but u know d best person to do business with is God. U ask him for something but what have u done for him. He is beginning & d end cos before we are born he had already know what we will become. U might think music is ur line but  he might have another thing in store for u

The person that recorded this video should have been arrested because this look like an assisted-suicide. The person should have call for help. Very sad! You took ur life just because your expectation hasn't been met in the Music industry. What a waste of life BOY
