SHAME! Police Officers Arrested For Extorting N5,000 From Woman In Lagos

Four police officers attached to the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, have been arrested for allegedly extorting N5,000 from a woman in Ajah area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

The information leading to their arrest was given by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba.

The information on their arrest was captured on the RRS twitter handle.

The RRS said the officials had been arrested and detained, saying that they would be transferred to the headquarters on Monday for trial.



“SOME MOTHERS DO HAVE THEM: On info from d Force PRO @frankmbablog that our officers at Ajah extorted 5k from a lady, our Operation Officers went in search, arrested and detained them.

“They will be transferred to the headquarters on Monday for trial. Thanks for this timely info. @PoliceNG @police_cru,” the statement said.

when u travel outside the country and have issues.police is the first people u will run to and the will aid u to the last and make sure u get justice.wether u are rich,poor or even an orphan.here in my country,police are the first people u will be running away from cos u will end up bailing urself and the issue still remain unsolved
