A primary school in Cross River State has become the focus of an Initiative Group in Nigeria, after it was discovered that the pupils learn inside a thatched hut.

Lydia Yegraowo Okache and Godwin Onah of Hope for the Young Initiative posted photos of some primary schools they visited to pay schools fees of pupils and distribute exercise books.

One of them include Community Primary School at Akpanda Itega-Egbudu, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, where the Head teacher’s office is under a tree and pupils are taught under a thatched hut.

Lydia has posted the photos, so we can see for ourselves the state of some of our schools and come up with strategies to put them in good shapes.

Ahh you nor see how advance the giant of Africa has  come. Nigeria is  the very face of Africa's progress and accomplishments. Well done to all Nigerian leaders  but most especially our schools  coordinators and superintendent.  We could even negotiate to export he  technology to  India and other places of high populations.
