Thanks to the likes of Don Jazzy, MC Galaxy and other celebrities who exploit the poverty level in Nigeria to promote their music online, DJ Cuppy has been described as stingy and tight-fisted celebrity after she spoke against doing giveaways and seeing it as a way of "buying" fans. Nigerians on twitter are not having any of that and were quick to pounce on her calling her stingy and an ingrate for having so much fans and refusing to "share" money to them despite her dad being a multi-billionaire. Some of the response were very distasteful and disappointing to say the least, here is how it all went down:
