Davido In Trouble With Police For "Arresting" Two Female Accusing Him Of Impregnating Them

Lagos state police command Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana has condemned the action taken by Davido and his hypeman Special Ed for illegally arresting and imprisioning two girls who made a prank accusing Davido of getting one of them pregnant. The video was released today's evening and the police were quick to condemn the action and point out that no citizen has the right to arrest another citizen

The video was posted on Instagram showing the two women, Helen and Susan, handcuffed and sitting on a chair in a living room.

The police spokesman said,

“Even if someone defamed your character, you are to hand over the person to the police immediately but to parade them is wrong. The person being paraded has the right to sue. Private citizens have no right to parade another person.

“Not all policemen even have the power to parade suspects.

“You cannot be a judge in your own case. If he feels aggrieved, he should lodge a complaint and not go to effect an arrest. He cannot conclude the guilt of another person. There must be an investigation and only a court can pronounce them guilty.”

 I NEVER KNEW THAT DAVIDO IS THIS FOOLISH. HOW COULD HE ALLOW PEOPLE TO PERSUADE HIM TO TAKE LAW INTO HIS HANDS. THEY HAVE ALREADY SAID THAT IT WAS A PRANKS AND APOLOGISED. ARRESTING THEM TO  PROVE WHAT?

Thanks Mr Bala, enough of this stupidity of people taking law into their hands. So please effect an arrest I also hope this two ladies sue this yeyebrity. These two were wrong, but this wasnt how to go about it.

Am surprised at many peoples comment here... Many of u are just haters and jealous of Davido... Wat kind of stupid prank Is that one . Do David even know them B4 that de would be doing such... That kind of tin they did could destroy everything he has worked so hard for..  I understand wat d police is saying but I still believe d girls deserve wat they got..

IT IS NOT A CRIME TO IMPREGNATE A GIRL OF I8YRS +.  NOBODY INCLUDING YOUR DAVIDO IS ABOVE THE LAW. A MATTER LIKE THIS, JUST REPORT TO THE POLICE THEN TO COURT.
