INEC Presents Certificates Of Return To Bayelsa Governor-Elect, David Lyon

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday, November 21, presented a certificate of return to the Bayelsa state governor-elect, Chief David Lyon. Moreover, INEC presented a certificate of return to Charles Daniel, a member of the Bayelsa state House of Assembly representing Brass constituency 1, after the supplementary election held on Saturday, November 16. INEC's Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Pastor Monday Udoh, in Bayelsa, said that the election in which David Lyon emerged victorious was free and fair. Earlier, report has it that INEC had officially declared David Lyon, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Bayelsa governorship election as the winner of the poll.
