This is indeed a tough time for popular Yoruba comic actor, Olatayo Amokade popularly known as Ijebu as he lost his father into the cold hands of death on Friday, 29th, 2019.
The talented comic actor announced the death of his father on his Instagram page saying, ‘a great man has gone but dad I will miss you. PA Kolawole Amokade ‘Bafunbi’
Mourning the loss, Ijebu shared a throwback video of his visit to his dad just a few days ago before his demise.
He wrote

“Some days ago when we all pay him a visit…RIP dad. Good night daddy,”.
He died at his house in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State. .
Meanwhile, about 4 months ago, Ijebu’s niece also died a few hours after putting to bed.
