I agree with ya acknowledging the fact that it`s gradually turning into a tradition, but the figure "85%" is over exaggerated and misleading; don`t even think of 5%, that`s much.
The learning condition in  our schools is bad & very bad in some cases but believe me, Nigeria does not only produce one of the highest number of graduates per year in the world, but produces one of the most qualified candidate for the labour market that could compete neck to neck with those of Europe & America. Nigeria has problem in some engineering Areas & Medicine not cos of lack of qualified professors/lecturers but cos of inadequate learning/ practical equipments. Just that we have the tradition of making a mountain out of a little stone.

what kind of senseless and useless topic is this?God created us equally but base on the fact some people have opportunity more than the others doesn't mean that does with less opportunities should be whipe off the surface of the earth,,why do you guyz think this way? You called yourself educated but yet you'r still poor,,you ar'as thesame as the rich illiterate...If you guys can think and reason the topic well and carefully and you will all see that being educated and poor is the opposite of being illiterate and rich....................I'm a christiam but i think muslims don't think the way we christian thinks,,sometimes we think too negetive
