Ekwowusi lamented that a situation where underage kids and teenagers are taught “negative and dangerous indulgences of the adult such as abortion, masturbation, using condom to ‘prevent’ unwanted pregnancies and segxwally transmitted diseases are very unhealthy for the African family".

The observation of the Barr should not be a reason for not teaching sex education in our schools but rather there should be a sound curriculum that will be applicable to different educational levels. The fact is still that the issues of sex  can not be totally hidden from these curious generations, if they dont get it in the class they will surely get it elsewhere. The earlier they know how to manage and conduct themselves the better for them. shikena!

This is very necessary for our growing adolescents. The earlier the better. To avoid "had i known" or "nobody told me".
