Thats rubbish!.
Banin the check points do not stop accidents.
Instead they should monitor the points for illegal activities like bribery or 20naira levies.

Am not in the surport of removing the police entirely from our raods, rather our Government should equipt them so as to enable them patrol very well, even with helicopter and good communication garjets.....dont forget Mr I.G.P christmas is at hand.

Those hungry policemen must resist this law, though I don't blame them because they are not adequately taking care of

they use to block road with arms and  authority and take money from road travelers thats pure robbery.banning them is a very good move.i hope those robbers in uniform (police) will not start to go home robbery.

[b :)The Banned of the Police CheckPoints which was ordered by the ''Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Ogbonna Onovo''. Kudos to you,
but i am afraid if after the Banned the road will remain open for the criminal minded for there, heinuos crimes. However, the insignificant of the banned CheckPoints have some sort of significant other in combating crimes in our great country NIGERIA........ [/b]
