Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Sunday evening reportedly killed 14 people in Kwatas village in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Titus Ayuba Alams broke the news of the attack to New Telegraph on Monday morning.
“My village, Kwatas was attacked on Sunday evening between 6pm to 7pm by suspected Fulani herdsmen and14 persons were killed in the village market square,” he said.
Kwatas is a community neighboring the Plateau State University, Bokkos.
The attacked is coming barely a few weeks after gunmen, also suspected to be herdsmen, killed 12 people in neighboring Kulben village in Mangu Local Government Area.
