The US consulate in Abuja has denied reports that it refused to issue a US visa to popular Nigerian pastor, Bishop David Oyedepo. The report that the man of God was denied a US visa quickly went viral in the Nigerian internet space after it was initially run on the national daily newspaper, ThisDay. The US embassy has now denied the claims calling the report "Fake News" but has not released any further information as to whether Oyedepo applied for a visa, if he was granted or denied. - You can see the tweet below:
