Burna Boy has re-affirmed his previous stance on past artists "paving" way for him to become the new face of Afrobeats. He has denied that any of the previous artists paved way for him, insisting that those artists were only trying to make a living for themselves and not "paving" a way for him to come through as the next big thing. He has now included the fans on that list, he said if you are not 'FELA' or his (blood) family member then you have done nothing for him - we have records of his tweet below:

All i undersyand is that you are not a real talent because all you song is just a repeattition of fela,s songs. that makes you an immitator not an innovator. Be creative on your own.
