Am Absent From Movies Because Most Directors Cant Afford Me - Omotola Jalade Reveals

Controversial Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, reveals the reason why she no longer appears in movies. According to her, her absence from movies is because most directors can’t afford her.

She wrote in response to a question by one of her admirers “most can’t afford me, some can’t afford what it takes to have me on set, but all will balance soon”.

The 42-year-old also disclosed why she included ‘Omosexy’ to her name and how she dealt with people’s opinions.

“My husband added ‘Omosexy’ to my name and I don’t mind what people would think of me because of the name, people will always fall in line with what you present ultimately “she noted.

Omotola briefly returned to the big screens in 2017 with a blockbuster “Alter Ego.”

The actress has been married to Captain Matthew Ekeinde for over two decades. Her marriage is blessed with four children.

When you were searching for survival, movie directors were able to afford your bill. Now that they have made you someone important and rich in the society, you decided to chase them away by changing exorbitant amount of money for movie role. You must an ungrateful woman.
