Bala Elkana, The Lagos state police command spokesperson reveals that the identity of the man who attempted suicide by jumping into Lagos lagoon as be revealed. The reason why he also attempted suicide has emerged.

His identity has been revealed as 28-year-old Princewill David, a resident of Tajudeen Balogun street in Moshalash area of Igando, Lagos.

According to the police, the victim explained that he took the drastic decision when his girlfriend of many years says she was no longer interested in their relationship.

The Lagos state police public relations officer, Bala Elkana explained that the victim is presently undergoing medical attention while an investigation is ongoing.
